1. Who can apply

• Your organisation/initiative/collective is based in Berlin;
• You plan a queer centered project;
• Migrant, BIPOC organizations, initiatives, collectives who want to do awareness projects on queer topics;
• Queer migrant, BIPOC organizations, initiatives, collectives who want to do empowerment projects;
• Initiatives and collectives consist of at least 3 persons;
• Queer people with migrant-diasporic biography, queer BIPOC within white organizations, who want to implement empowerment projects;
• Within initiatives/collectives at least 2 persons need to have a german tax number for freelancers (it’s not the same as “Steuer-ID” or “Lohnsteuer”, you have to actively register at the tax office (“Finanzamt”) for the freelance tax number);
• Your project is doable within the time frame: 02.05.-31.10.;
• It doesn’t have to be a new project, it can also be a project that already exists;
• You have attended our info event or had an info meeting with the Come In team;
• You don’t need skills in project management or bookkeeping and you don’t need to have formal education degrees (we can support).

2. What do you need, what to prepare before

• You can register and save your application and come back to it.
• Description of your project, of your organization/initiative/collective: who are you, what do you want to do, when and how do you want to implement the project, who will be the contact persons and responsible for the project → you can apply in text form or upload a video (not longer than three minutes).
• Budget plan: you can download the Budget plan-template and upload it at the end of the application process.

For budgeting honorary fees see: We recommend a fee of 32€/hour for everyone in the project involved. If you want to pay people a honorary fee, they have to have a tax number for freelancers and write an invoice.

As an alternative for the honorary fee, you can pay a compensation (“Aufwandsentschädigung”) for voluntary work, if you are a registered non-profit organization. For this compensation no formal educational degree is required and also no tax number or invoice, but the payment must be under the minimum wage (13,69€/hour) since it is considered as voluntary work. The work should not be more than 14 hours/week and the fee is not a honorary fee. We recommend 13 €/hour for the “Aufwandsentschädigung”.

3. How much money you can apply and application period

•  Application period: 01.02. – 01.03. (11:59 pm);
  applications after this period can not be considered;
•  Funding: 1.000,00 € – 8.000,00 €.

4. Project Duration: Mai to October

•  Duration of your project (6 months): 02.05. – 31.10.
